Philadelphia makes some amazing punk rock. Being the home of Ink & Dagger I think is testament enough.Horror Show are pretty typical hardcore in the vein of American Nightmare BUT I mean this kind of hardcore is way out of vogue now and there are only a few good records that survive the era. This one's spectacular.
Their singer, Nicky Money, caused the band to break up by stabbing someone at a show and then went to prison for a few years and couldn't tour because of parole issues. That's pretty hard.
